“Jaina Silpa Mandir” began in the year 1923 as an in-house business in Kolkata, a city also known as “City of Joy”, located on the east bank of river Hooghly and best described as a mother land of many great Indian personalities and also much famous for its delicious and mouthwatering food.
Jaina Silpa Mandir was started by a visionary legend “Late Shri Kishori Lal Jain” in the year 1923 as an in-house small business of manufacturing variety of Pickles, Hazmi, Churan, Sweet Supari etc. Over the period of time the taste was accepted by the huge set of people and Jaina Silpa Mandir started becoming one of the favorite taste of many localities.
The legacy was then continued by the next generation and grew multifold by “Shri Amar Chand Jain”, a well-known and reputed personality whose only aim was to spread the business into other parts of city and nearby areas. With his untiring effort the name “Jaina Silpa Mandir” become the first choice of majority of people in Kolkata. The demand grew, so was the business and over the span of successful 95 years, this name has gained grand popularity in market, especially in few of the products like Jawain Goli, Dalim Goli, Mango Kasundi, Nawabi Achar, Sweet & Sour Chutnies, Green & Red Chilies, Mango Pickle etc.
